Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Partnership

In 2023, Greenway Equipment launched a historic partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), marking a significant milestone in conservation efforts. This collaboration features Greenway as a sponsor for a Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) to promote sustainable management practices of wildlife habitats and the Waterfowl Rice Incentive Conservation Enhancement (WRICE) program, which keeps waste rice available for ducks, geese, and other migratory birds when they pass through each winter.

As a Premier AGFC Conservation and Cultivation Sponsor, Greenway Equipment takes immense pride in this collaboration. Beyond merely a corporate endeavor, this partnership underscores Greenway’s deep-rooted commitment to giving back to the communities in which we serve. By aligning with the AGFC, Greenway reinforces our dedication to safeguarding Arkansas’s diverse natural resources while fostering environmental stewardship.

Greenway’s sponsorship of these initiatives extends beyond financial support. It signifies an approach to conservation that encompasses education, outreach, and collaboration. By providing the necessary products and services, Greenway empowers landowners to become active participants in the conservation of Arkansas’s natural heritage because we recognize that conservation is a collective endeavor. By fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, Greenway envisions a future where sustainable practices are not just the exception but the norm.

“Greenway is proud to partner with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission as a Premier AGFC Conservation and Cultivation Sponsor. This partnership not only aligns with our company’s commitment to give back to the communities in which we operate, but also allows us to support the AGFC by providing the products and services necessary to promote and protect our state’s many valuable natural resources,” said Greenway CEO, Bill Midkiff. “Through our sponsorship of private land conservation programs such as DMAP and WRICE, we hope to increase awareness and adoption of sustainable management practices which enhance wildlife habitat and provide support to all landowners during each step of the process.”

“Private partnerships are vital to the success of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission,” AGFC Director Austin Booth said. “With over 90% of land in Arkansas privately owned, the success of the fish and wildlife in the Natural State relies on landowners making habitat improvements on their own property. Greenway understands Arkansas landowners in a way few others do, so this relationship is the perfect example of the type of public-private partnerships which make AGFC successful. We are greatly appreciative of Greenway and their commitment to habitat conservation in the Natural State.”
