Meet Lance, our new location manager at Walnut Ridge.
Lance was born and raised in Hoxie, Arkansas, splitting his childhood time between his dad’s farm and the John Deere Dealership (located in Walnut Ridge, AR) where his mother worked for 20+ years. It was this foundation that gave Lance the drive and passion to come back to at the Greenway in Walnut Ridge and the Ag business.
Things have changed a lot since then, too. Lance noted that technology has advanced rapidly. The presence of auto-steering, geo-location and products like Exact Emerge have made farmers far more technologically advanced now than in the past. Luckily, Lance says, he has a great team in place to handle all the changes and the questions that come with them.
When Lance learned about the Location Manager opportunity in Walnut Ridge, you could tell there was a fire in his heart to take it on. Lance brings vast experience to the Walnut Ridge area and a deep knowledge of the customer base in the area. The excitement Lance has brought to the location has already made an impact on the culture within the store.
And Lance knows the Walnut Ridge location is special. There’s a history here, with many of the employees having been here for decades, and a few of the others being second-generation, much like Lance, who came to the location after their parents worked here when they were younger. It gives the location a sense of pride, not just in the Greenway name but in the location’s history and the place it holds in the community.
Lance has been busy in his short time at the location and credits a lot of this to his ace sales and service staff. His sales team has been incredibly flexible and responsive, diversifying out of just row crop equipment and moving into hay and cattle with much success. This responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction is a part of what makes Lance, the Walnut Ridge location and the whole of Greenway Equipment so special.
Lance is married to his wonderful wife Raquel. They live in Jonesboro with their children ranging from 4 – 29 years of age. Please welcome Lance to the Greenway Family!
