Best Attachments for Skid Steers and Compact Track Loaders

If you have or are looking at getting a skid steer or compact track loader (commonly referred to as track skid steers), this page is for you. There are more attachments for these CCE machines than you can imagine. The vast amount of attachment options are largely a result of skid steers and compact track loaders being great for both construction and agriculture. Mulch Heads

Mulch heads are great for shredding wood and underbrush. Our John Deere mulchers are built to endure heavy underbrush without slowing down. If you are wanting to turn pesky twigs and undergrowth into a fine mulch in a matter of moments, our mulch heads are the way to go. The current mulch head is 74 inches wide with a cutting width of 60 inches.

Grapples

Grapples are great for clearing brush, scraps, and moving materials. Grapples turn time-consuming jobs into fun tasks. John Deere’s skid steer/compact track loader grapples come in various sizes and styles: Rock Grapples, Utility Grapples, Scrap Grapples. The rock grapple is designed for clearing land and bush removal. The utility grapple is made for moving hay, clearing manure, and similar tasks. The scrap grapple is used for exactly what the name suggests, moving scraps.

Rotary Cutters

Oftentimes people think of rotary cutters as being for compact utility tractors and agriculture tractors, but they are great paired with skid steers and compact track loaders. Rotary cutters are great for knocking down tall brush and thick grass. There are various cutter sizes to match the size or your equipment and scale of the brush. We have rotary cutters with cutting widths ranging from 60 inches to 84 inches.

Buckets

Buckets, buckets, and more buckets: Multipurpose buckets, Rollout buckets, Rock buckets, Side Discharge buckets. Each of these buckets fulfills a different need and each is equally beneficial. The multipurpose buckets are great for bulldozing, scraping and loading. The rollout buckets are great for dumping dirt loads from high heights. The rock buckets are designed for clearing rocks from fields, sorting materials and gathering rocks while digging. The side discharge buckets are made for distributing materials in close quarters such as inside buildings.

Trenchers

John Deere’s trenchers have manual side shift features that allow you to dig trenches along the side of buildings. Trenchers are great for digging trenches for drainage, pipes, and wires. Greenway Equipment has several trenchers with boom lengths ranging from 36 inches to 60 inches.

Augers

Augers are the best attachments for post hole digging and tree planting. When you have an auger for your skid steer/compact track loader, you can say goodbye to backaches and shoulder pain triggered by digging holes. We have augers with various diameters, 24 inches – 36 inches, so you can choose which best fits your needs.

Rotary Brooms

If you need to clear a smooth surface, rotary brooms are the attachments you need. With two broom options, angle brooms and pick-up brooms, we have your sweeping needs covered. The angle brooms are made for pushing debris from the area you are working in. The pick-up brooms are designed to collect the debris and remove it from the work area. The angle brooms come in sweeping widths of 72 inches – 96 inches. The pick-up brooms have sweeping widths of 64 inches – 84 inches.
