Apprenticeship Program
Ag Service Technician Apprenticeship Program
Apprentice’s are enrolled in an 18-month John Deere certification program while working as a full-time Greenway employee. During the program you will work alongside seasoned mentor technicians to gain hands-on experience while also attending training classes with Greenway both in-person and online. Upon successful completion, apprentice’s receive a Level 3 John Deere Certification.
In addition to the hands-on training under a mentor technician, the Apprenticeship program trains apprentices on various machinery components and cutting-edge agricultural technologies like:
- Engine systems
- Powertrain
- Hydraulics
- Machine setup and adjustments
- John Deere’s latest AMS Technology Systems
- Electronics
- Schematics
- Diagnostic Computer System repairs
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screen.
