Ag Service Technician Apprenticeship Program

Apprentice’s are enrolled in an 18-month John Deere certification program while working as a full-time Greenway employee. During the program you will work alongside seasoned mentor technicians to gain hands-on experience while also attending training classes with Greenway both in-person and online, as well as attending online classes virtually through ASU-Newport. Upon successful completion, apprentice’s receive a Level 3 John Deere Certification.

In addition to the hands-on training under a mentor technician, the Apprenticeship program trains apprentices on various machinery components and cutting-edge agricultural technologies like:

• Engine systems
• Powertrain
• Hydraulics
• Machine setup and adjustments
• John Deere’s latest AMS Technology Systems
• Electronics
• Schematics
• Diagnostic Computer System repairs
