In September, we welcomed a special guest to our Greenway Equipment – England location—Indonesia’s Minister of Agriculture, HE Dr. Andi Amran Sulaiman! It’s not every day we get such a high-profile visitor, and it was a great opportunity to showcase our John Deere equipment and discuss all things Arkansas agriculture.

We talked about everything from our most popular tractors to the John Deere precision ag technology that’s changing the game for farmers. It’s always exciting to share how our specialized John Deere equipment is making a difference here in Arkansas and around the world.

We were also thrilled to have Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward join us for the day. Having both Arkansas’s and Indonesia’s top agriculture leaders together was a reminder of how important agriculture is to both our state and global markets. The visit opened great conversations about how we can continue to grow partnerships with countries like Indonesia, whether it’s through equipment, technology, or crops like rice and soybeans.

At Greenway, we’re proud to be part of Arkansas’s strong agricultural community, but we also love the role we play in connecting our state’s farming innovations to the world. Indonesia is one of Arkansas’s key export markets, ranking as our 5th largest. Dr. Sulaiman’s interest in what we do shows how much demand there is for American agricultural products and technology.  The visit from Dr. Sulaiman was a great way to reinforce those global ties and explore new opportunities for Arkansas, and Greenway, to share its agricultural expertise.
